Prices listed here are base prices for single character pieces with simple or no backgrounds. They go up depending on the amount of detail and/or background that will be involved in the piece, and the number of characters. While I'm quite capable of working fast, the speed at which I finish a commission is dependent on several factors. It goes like this:

You contact me and let me know you're interested in a commission. I'll then quote you a price based on what you're looking for. My prices are negotiable to some extent, and I'm sometimes willing to take things in trade for artwork in a barter sort of sense. Once this is set, I'll work up a sketch for you. PLEASE make sure you've given me as much descriptive information (and reference images if possible) as you can, as this will help immensely in my getting your piece accurate. I'll send you the sketch via email or a link. You check things over, let me know if anything needs changing or fixing (within reason!) and then you send me the payment for the piece (check, money order, or well hidden cash at your own risk). No, I cannot take PayPal. Once I've received payment (and checks have cleared) I'll go ahead with the inks and colors if applicable. I'll show you the piece at each stage of work.

A great deal of the time spent on a commission tends to be either me waiting on feedback or implementing said feedback. The former depends on you. The latter I need to work on. Do feel free to poke me any time while I'm working on a piece for you. I'm bad about forgetting things and I have a very short attention span, so reminders help. I won't bite your head off for it, so don't be afraid to do it. A piece may take me as little as a few days, or in the case of larger and more complicated things, up to a year. The more contact I have with you, the greater chance I'll get your piece done quickly, so please keep that in mind when contacting me.
